Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy (Return to Base)

At Generator Shop, we stand behind the products we sell. This page explains our Return to Base warranty coverage, warranty periods, and how to make a claim.

Return to Base means the product must be returned to our workshop (or an authorised service agent if approved by Generator Shop) for assessment and repair. Any alternative arrangements must be authorised by Generator Shop on a case-by-case basis.

Domestic vs Commercial / Trade use

  • Domestic use: personal/home use as long as the invoice is made out to an individual person, not a business or entity. (including home backup and recreational use).
  • Commercial / Trade use: I business name is used on the invoice, this is regarded as Commercial, and includes any business use, worksite use, hire/rental use, or income-generating use.

If usage is unclear, we may ask for additional information to confirm the correct warranty category.
